To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.A time to be born and a time to die.(Eccl3:1-2)
Sweet memories of.Aunty Florence while growing up in New Bussa in the late 60s.Our parents, late Mr and Mrs Peter Fregene were family friends with the Adejumos.Aunty was such a.loving, caring and accomodating person.A lover of children.
There were no dull moments with her.We looked forward to visits in her home,to play with her children, have plenty of fun and enjoy some goodies too.She carried out her job as a nurse in the then NEPA Hospital with so much compassion. We will miss your ever smiling face.We are comforted that you loved the Lord and we will meet again on the Resurrection morning. To my younger ones and Aunty Missy, please take heart.May the Lord strengthen you all.God bless and keep you all always in Him.Maranatha

We have known Mrs Florence Adejumo since 1976 and she was such a wonderful woman of God that my wife and her became very close friends for nearly 47 years. Mrs Florence Adejumo and my wife Bolatito Idowu worked in Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria briefly and then worked in Institute of Agricultural Research (I.A.R) Clinic and the Sick Bay of the University for many years.
She was very hardworking and a dedicated Nurse. We fondly called her “Iya Double Double” because she had two sets of twins. She invested a lot in her children education and made sure they all had University Education. She loved God and she loved people. Mrs Florence Adejumo was a devoted and committed Christian. She was completely sold out to Jesus.
She was loving, joyful, peace-loving, gentle, kind, very persevering and very generous. Also, she was very humble and very respectful. We love her more than words can say but God loved her very much more. Rest in peace our beloved friend and sister.

Mummy you are a mother in Israel. You were a blessing, caretaker, mentor and mother to many. You bore the light of the Christian faith against many odds. Always praying and carrying the burden of many before the Lord. Rest in peace mummy, may you rest in the blossom of the Lord.
